Hi Everyone & Welcome To My Universe,
I am so excited to be writing my first post on my new site! Before we get started visit the About Me page to learn more about who I am and what my interests include. 😊
So now let's talk about the Design Of The Week....
The episode "Consumed" from The Walking Dead is one of my favorite of the entire series. The way that Daryl tries to encourage Carol by telling her that they aren't ashes even after all the consuming things they've been through, highlights the special bond and connection that these two characters share. I also feel like their conversation came full circle in the recent episode "New Best Friends", as the current state of both of their lives has basically been reduced to a heap of ashes through the effects of Negan. But even though circumstances caused them to lose themselves, I feel like they were found again in the moment of their long awaited reunion. The look of relief and comfort as they embraced offered healing and hope to what their lives have become.
I was so excited and moved by this beautiful reunion that I had to make a video tribute of it below.....
As you can probably tell, I am a huge fan of this these two and I really hope we will get more from them as the season continues. 💘
